Some of the highlights from Cathy’s career are listed here:
- Spring, 1993, attended The Edith Serai School of Esthetics and Electrolysis International and obtained a diploma in Electrolysis
- December, 1993, along with another Electrologist, established the clinic, Electrolysis Clinique Inc. in Happy Valley Goose Bay, Labrador
- Returned to Mount Pearl, NL in Spring of 1994 and opened another clinic, Mt. Pearl Electrolysis Clinic Inc
- May of 1995, obtained a Certified Clinical Electrologist designation, one of two Electrologists to have this designation in Newfoundland and Labrador
- 2007-2009, instructed the Electrolysis program at a Post-Secondary College, Academy Canada, St. John’s, NL
- 2010, received Post-Secondary Instructor’s Certificate through Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador
- 2011, expanded her hair removal business to the West Coast of Newfoundland and Labrador and opened Derma Electrolysis Clinic Inc., Corner Brook, NL
